The Paris Wildcats enjoyed a successful start to their season Friday night and two Texas A&M commits had a lot to do with their success.

Paris beat Gainesville 26-7 in their opener and, according to defensive back Keon Furtch, could have enjoyed even more success except for a few penalties.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Rivals.com three-star prospect committed to A&M over scholarship offers from Texas Tech, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Purdue.
