Orms one of Colorado's best for 2009

BuffStampede.com Just one of three starters returning from Wheat Ridge's 2006 4A state championship team, Parker Orms has seen his role expand this fall.
Orms recorded 113 tackles and five interceptions at safety as a sophomore, earning him first-team all-state and first-team all-Mountain Plains League honors. He is also starting at running back this season for the Farmers.
After losing to Montrose in overtime to open their 2007 season, Orms and his Wheat Ridge teammates bounced back with a 56-6 win over Adams City on Friday night.
Still 17 months away from signing day for his class, Orms hasn't spent much time thinking about recruiting yet. But he has drawn early interest from Kansas State and Colorado State.
