Latest commits testament to Dantonio's philosophy
Yesterday was a big day for Michigan State football. The Sparans picked up two in-state commitments, John Deyo Gull Lake High School in Richland Michigan and Chris McDonald of Utica Ford High School. Both players will be counted on to be fixtures in the trenches for years to come for Coach Mark Dantonio and his staff.
The 6-foot-6, 270-pound Deyo will work as an offensive tackle prospect. The Spartan staff had the opportunity to evaluate Deyo in person at two different camp sessions this summer and at both he impressed with his ability and work ethic.
