Practice back to normal
It was back to more normal for Tuesday's practice. There was more intensity and focus. You can tell though that these are the dog days of summer as every has that look of being dog tired. Soon the Bruins will taper back and get their hop back in their step. It can't be said enough as far as camps go this current one has been the best in sometime.
Because of depth issues to the backfield the Bruins are experimenting by moving Christian Ramirez to running back and Fred Holmes to fullback. Both players did a solid job when you take into consideration that yesterday they were on the defensive side of the ball.
As is customary, UCLA coach Karl Dorrell met with the media after practice to give his thoughts and answer questions.
"What morning can bring from yesterday morning to this morning," Dorrell said. "I'm very pleased with their response. We did some live drills as you saw. It was good to see some back and forth success, which is the way I like it and I feel good. It was a good practice this morning.
