After a strenuous two-a-day practice on Wednesday, the Crimson Tide returned to the practice fields Thursday for a single afternoon practice session in the balmy Tuscaloosa heat.

Lett returns to Tuscaloosa

Freshman defensive back Chris Lett returned to practice on Thursday after missing several practices due to a medical condition reported to be diabetes. Head coach Nick Saban said on Tuesday that Lett's status and future with the team were uncertain but Lett's presence at Thursday's practice appeared to indicate that the Pensacola native remains with the team.
