Clarke Talks About List, Possible Visits
Rotnei Clarke is still several months away from making a decision about his future, but that doesn't mean his life is any less hectic. The 6-foot-0, 175-pound point guard from Verdigris High School in Claremore, Okla., is still in the process of narrowing his list of schools from 10 to a more manageable number. The four-star prospect informed Jayhawk Slant about the schools he'll most likely visit in the fall.
Clarke, the No. 83 ranked player in the class of 2008, was a relative unknown when he first stepped on the court with Team Texas at the beginning of the summer. However, after several strong and impressive performances, he recruitment quickly changed for the better.
Now that his time on the AAU Circuit is complete, Clarke recently trimmed his list of schools down to Arizona State, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Memphis, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Gonzaga, Tulsa and Oral Roberts.
