Cox ready to roll; No. 2 QB battle back on
Having a senior quarterback like Brandon Cox, who has two years of starting experience under his belt, makes life a little easier for Auburn offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Al Borges.
After an injury-plagued junior season, Cox sailed through spring practice and summer workouts and enters the preseason in the best shape of his career.
When it comes to getting Cox ready for the 2007 season, it's just a matter of fine-tuning the little things according to Borges.
"He's at the point now where you're not coaching very few big things because he's been through the wars," said Borges.
