After 6-foot-4, 195-pound Matthews (N.C.) Butler quarterback Jacob Charest unofficially visited the Illinois campus a few weeks ago, the Illini jumped up to the top of his list. Just weeks before his he starts practice for the upcoming season, Charest remains in a similar position.

Charest says Illinois leads Iowa, Oregon, Alabama, Virginia and Boston College.
