Living at the line

Peegs.com You probably noticed it during his senior season at North Central, but never has it been more apparent in the last week how Eric Gordon draws foul after foul from those unfortunate souls that have to defend him on the perimeter. Saturday night against the Kentucky All-Stars he was 9-10 from the free throw line in his 32-point effort. That followed the exhibition tune-up game Wednesday against the Junior All-Stars where he was an amazing 17-20 from the line. After that outing he talked about why he got all those attempts.
"When the game gets physical like that it is better to take it to the hole," says Gordon. "If you get a jumpshot they let you nick and hack you in the arm, so I just used my physical ability to take over."
Gordon's strength and quickness going to the hole reminds you some of the way LeBron James is able to drive or draw fouls.
