Figgins preparing to play
After waiting for months between the day he committed to UGA and the day he moved into his dorm two weeks ago today, tight end Bruce Figgins' day starts out pretty early.
Having opted to take part in Georgia's early morning workout sessions, which begin at 6 a.m., he hits the ground running on a daily basis.
"I am not used to getting my workout in that early because I have been used to working out in the afternoon, and it is a big adjustment to how your body feels," said Figgins.
After the initial days of moving in, starting classes, and adjusting to college life, things are starting to settle down for the freshman from Columbus.
"It has been a lot to take in with all the information that we have been taking in, but at the same time it has been really exciting getting started in college and to get football rolling," he admits.
