Forston looking at all of his options
Pre-evaluation Rivals100 defensive tackle Marcus Forston has had the hometown Miami Hurricanes at the top of his list for nearly the entire process. But in recent weeks, several schools have drawn even and are squarely in the mix to land the talented prospect.
Forston talked about his decision during a May 8 interview with CaneSport.com.
"I basically said that everybody has been telling me the same thing," Forston said. "I have been hearing a lot of good things from a lot of college programs. I feel the same way about every college now."
One of those programs is Notre Dame, which sent head coach Charlie Weis to Miami to check on the 6-foot-3, 290-pounder. The Irish have positioned themselves well.
