SPRINGDALE - Springdale Har-Ber forward Michael Sanchez joined his buddy Nate Rakestraw at Arkansas when he inked with the Razorbacks shortly after noon at Har-Ber High School's gymnasium.

Sanchez, 6-8, 235, orally committed to Arkansas on Sunday night, but didn't go public with it until Monday night. Sanchez is a combo forward who averaged 16 points and 15 rebounds per game while leading Har-Ber to a state runner-up finish. Sanchez and Forrest City guard Marcus Britt, 6-3, 180, join Rakestraw as Arkansas' recruits for the Class of 2007. New Arkansas Coach John Pelphrey recently offered Sanchez a scholarship.
