Peegs.com In our continuing in-depth profiles of the six man Indiana recruiting class, we review the most ballyhooed Indiana recruit in a long time, 6-foot-4 Eric Gordon from North Central High School in Indianapolis. Is all the hype warranted? We'll try evaluate the impact this pure scorer could have on the Hoosier team in '07-'08.
Been debating whether I should write here what I have saying in private conversations about how good Eric Gordon has become and how much of an impact he could have this coming season in Bloomington. That's right, the Eric Gordon era just about upon us. Enjoy it Indiana fans, because even with all the success and tradition IU has had, it is rare for someone of this talent to lace them up for your Hoosiers.
Gordon is a scorer that Indiana has not seen in quite some time. So much of a scorer that I anticipate there's an excellent chance he'll lead the Hoosiers in that category. It would surprise me if he doesn't. In fact it wouldn't shock me at all if he leads the entire Big Ten in scoring in the coming season. MSU's Drew Neitzel is the only returning Big Ten player that I would be hard pressed to bet against Gordon's scoring numbers.
