Murphy's new law: everything going right
Louis Murphy had all of two catches to show for his first two years of work at Florida, and with play makers Andre Caldwell, Percy Harvin and Cornelius Ingram returning this spring, he needed to make an impression at one of the most talented positions on the team. Mission accomplished. Murphy led all receivers in catches and yards on Saturday at the Orange and Blue Game, prompting coach Urban Meyer to say he considered him a starter.
When Louis Murphy caught his only touchdown pass last year, he did not even realize he was in the end zone. Teammate Dallas Baker had to tell him he had scored before he fell down after running uncovered behind an LSU secondary that expected quarterback Tim Tebow to run.
