Singleton impressed with Vols run
Everywhere you look these days, you see Bruce Pearl. He's on billboards all around town, he's on the Jim Rome radio show, and probably the only ESPN show that he's not been on is Nascar Now. All of that free press sure can work as a good recruiting tool for the program, but one player who's known about the Vols before their current Sweet Sixteen run is Canton, Georgia small forward Chris Singleton.
"I was busy all weekend, but I was excited to see they made it because they have a young team; they ran, got out and got the job done," Singleton said.
The 6-foot-9, 215 pound swing man can play a number of positions and it's that type of versatility along with Tennessee's style of play that makes Singleton a key recruit for Tennessee's class for 2008.
