Seffner-Armwood uber-utlity lineman Matt Patchan holds 47 scholarships offers to play college football, but only a select few will receive either consideration from the 6-foot-6, 260-pound athlete or a visit.

Fortunately for Alabama fans, the Crimson Tide will receive both from the Rivals100 member.

Alabama, however, isn't the only school with close ties to Patchan. Patchan's father played for Miami in the 80's with current Hurricane Coach Randy Shannon. Current Ole Miss offensive line coach Art Kehoe coached Patchan's father at Miami.
