Glanton, the 'knockout king'
De'Mon Glanton made his name last year on one play against Alabama. It only took about eight seconds for Glanton to de-cleat running back Jimmy Johns and knock him out. That was last year, and this is this year, and after learning from one of Mississippi State's most consistent safeties, Glanton now seems ready for his new role.
Call it a luxury or call it waiting your time, Glanton played both backup roles behind Keith Fitzhugh and Jeramie Johnson last year. In playing both backup roles, he garnered a lot of playing time, even getting a start against No. 4 West Virginia.
