Jayhawks looking strong
Big Monday on ESPN wasn't so big for Nebraska fans. Bill Self's sixth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks (19-3, 6-1) faced a 'Red-Out' in Lincoln, Neb., only to knock out the Cornhuskers (12-8, 1-5) 76-56. Led by Brandon Rush's 20 points, KU led by as many as 35 in the first half, cruising to another conference victory. Six Jayhawks scored at least nine points in the rout.
Although Kansas was favored, nobody expected the beating that took place Monday night. The final score isn't indicative of KU's overall punishment of the Cornhuskers.
