With past University of Illinois commitments there has always seemed to be a sea of orange that has attended their games during their high school careers. Of course, most of those players are in the Midwest, but even California native Quinton Watkins got a taste of it last week.

Watkins was in a good mood following the game because he and his Dominguez teammates had just gotten a crucial win over Gahr High School, behind the solid play of Watkins, by a 78-75 score. It was a battle which created a first place tie in the San Gabriel Valley League.
