Woodburry comes on strong
Sophomore forward Terrance Woodbury knew the Kentucky game would be a special night for the Georgia Bulldogs, he just did not know how big a night it would be for himself.
Woodbury scored 16 points in the 78-69 overtime victory over Kentucky including six over Georgia's points during their 17-2 run on the Wildcats in the second half.
Woodbury hit the go-ahead three-point basket in overtime that put Georgia in the lead for good. Woodbury ended the game with 16 points, seven rebounds including three offensive boards, and a 60 percent shooting percentage from the floor.
"I think tonight I just played more aggressive than I have in the past four or five SEC games," said Woodbury. "I think in the first couple of games I did not play as aggressively as I could on defense and I know that is what coach wants to see out us, defense and rebounding. If you do not do those things, you are not going to get much time. Tonight I came out with the mentality that I was going to play my hardest and do whatever I had to do to stay on the court."
