Amazing & Miraculous
After what may go down as one of the greatest college basketball games in the history of mankind, Oklahoma State heads down deep in the heart of Texas to face a Texas A&M squad that isn't the pushover it once was.
Remember when seeing the name Texas A&M on the schedule equaled an automatic W? Yeah, me either at this point. Seems like ancient history now. The job Texan Billy Gillispie has done in College Station is approaching miracle status, as the Aggies winning lots, ranked in the top 10 and - gasp! - actually having the attention of their "football only" fans are all things which have never been associated with this basketball program, well, ever.
Lassie has to be barking in pride about the success they've had so far.
And tonight at 7 the No. 12 Cowboys (16-2 overall, 2-1 Big 12) ride into Aggieland to face an A&M squad currently No. 8 in the nation. The Aggies (15-2, 3-0) are currently marching with an eight-game winning streak. The game will be televised as part of the ESPN+ package (KOCB-34 in Oklahoma City and Stillwater; KJRH-2 in Northeastern Oklahoma).
While the Aggies have been idle since an 87-69 victory at Colorado last Saturday, OSU is coming off the high (albeit a very tiring one) of a triple-overtime "Instant Classic" against Texas Wednesday in Stillwater.
