A&M hosts OSU in match up of top 15 teams
It's being billed as the biggest game in the Big 12 conference this weekend when No. 12 Oklahoma State visits No. 8 Texas A&M at Reed Arena Saturday night at 7 p.m. The game will also pit two teams with far different styles against one another.
The Aggies play intense defense while Oklahoma State is an offensive juggernaut. Which one comes out on top, though, is anyone's guess. But the match up is intriguing to say the least. If A&M can do to OSU what Kansas did and blow out the Cowboys, it could prove that the Big 12 is truly a two-team league. But if Oklahoma State could pull the upset, then everything becomes much more open.
Oklahoma State is also coming off an emotional triple overtime win over Texas Tuesday in Stillwater, 105-103, Tuesday, which makes many wonder if the Cowboys have anything left in the tank for A&M. But the opposite could also be true, as Oklahoma State will be on an emotional high after Tuesday night's win.
The Cowboys have one of the best players in the Big 12, and arguably the most improved, in Mario Boggan. JamesOn Curry, who has been overshadowed by Boggan somewhat, is quietly having the best season of his career.
But the question is whether Boggan, Curry and the rest of the Cowboys can handle the stifling defense employed by A&M.
