Henderson breaking out?
Expectations soared among the Duke fan base as Gerald Henderson elevated his game to new heights as a high school senior and shot up the Rivals150 and into elite five star status in early 2006.
Henderson dominated post season all star action, developed his outside shot, and refined all of his basketball skills to become more than just an athletic phenom.
All of that made it tempting to think that Henderson could be a major impact player in a Blue Devil uniform instantly, but some preseason injury and health problems prevented him from being able to put in the needed work in the fall to be truly ready for ACC level basketball in the early portion of the season.
