Dawgs set to face Hogs
The Georgia Bulldogs (10-5, 2-1) look to improve on their solid start in SEC play as they head north to Arkansas to face the Razorbacks (12-5, 1-2) in Fayetteville on Wednesday evening. The game against Georgia will be televised on ESPNU.
Head coach Dennis Felton believes the Bulldogs are back on track following a tough stretch at the end of December and beginning of January that saw Georgia drop four straight games.
"I think we are in a pretty good place right now and it was really important for us to bounce back from those four losses. To be able to have back-to-back double digit SEC wins really helps. That validates what I was trying to get our team to believe in as we were going through that stretch of losing the four games. There was no shame in losing some of those games, but it was still a concern because what those losses meant to the confidence of our players," said coach Felton. "I feel fortunate that we have been able to respond and come back and win two straight and be above .500 in the league for the first time in a long time."
