Three lead for Henry
Xavier Henry, the 6-foot-6, 205-pound shooting guard from Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City, Okla., was in Lawrence on Wednesday to witness the Kansas Jayhawks 30-point victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Henry, the No. 9 ranked player in the class of 2009, was more than impressed with what he saw during his unofficial visit. Jayhawk Slant spoke to the five-star prospect about his visit, and where the Hawks stand on his list.
Its no secret that Henry knows all that there is to know about the University of Kansas basketball program. His father, Carl Henry, played hoops for the Hawks. Henry's brother, C.J. Henry gave a verbal commitment to the Jayhawks before being drafted by the New York Yankees in the first round of the MLB draft.
Memphis and North Carolina join Kansas in Henry's top three schools.
