After dropping its Southeastern Conference opener at Alabama, LSU saw its record for the season fall to 11-4.

LSU has posted quality victories against Texas A&M and Connecticut. The Tigers have absorbed defeats from four good squads - Wichita State, Texas, Washington and Alabama.

Outside shooting doomed LSU against the Crimson Tide last Tuesday. The Tigers' four backcourt performers - Garrett Temple, Dameon Mason, Terry Martin and Tack Minor - combined for a mere 12 points.
