OU getting back in the groove

With three days in Arizona under their belts, the Sooners are starting to get comfortable with their surroundings, and comfortable with Adrian Peterson being back as a full-fledged member of the Oklahoma football team.
"Having him back out here in practice has given us a little bit more excitement in practice period," said Allen Patrick who has taken a step down the depth chart in the No. 2 slot among running backs. "Just to have him out here doing the things he used to do and getting back in the groove of things has opened up practice a little bit."
On Wednesday, the Sooners went through what they call their 'Monday' workout. The Sooners donned shoulder pads and shorts and treated the practice as their first practice of the week.

"Guys got after it in a physical way. Guys ran well afterward, they looked good," Bob Stoops said on Tuesday.
