Martin helps out Big Baby
Earlier in the season, LSU's offense was coming predominantly from inside the lane and at the free throw line.
Terry Martin appears to want to make a change in that area.
Playing in just his second game since becoming eligible, Martin scored 19 points as LSU knocked off Louisiana Tech 68-52 on Saturday at the PMAC.
Martin, who scored 13 points in 20 minutes in his first game against Washington, knocked down seven of his nine field goal attempts against the Bulldogs. In addition, Martin was 5-of-6 from behind the arc.
"Terry Martin is a helluva of a guy," teammate Glen Davis said. "He's a player. Terry's a guy that is going to help us in the long run. It changes things so much for me. When teams go zone, he's going to open it up inside. They'll have to play man."
