Making the move

Auburn's Bart Eddins is a defensive guy. Has been all of his life.

So when the redshirt got the news last week that he would be making a move to offense, he received it with mixed emotions.

"I didn't want to go over there. I hate offensive people," said Eddins. "I've grown up defense. It's like Auburn-Alabama to me. I don't like the offensive line."

Eddins, who signed with the Tigers in February after a heralded career at defensive tackle at Trinity Presbyterian School in Montgomery, had never taken a snap along the offensive front. The closest he had ever come to playing offense was a few looks he got at fullback in short-yardage situations in high school.
