Roe tops the list for Ohio’s 2008 class
The class of 2007 in the state is loaded, but it pails in comparison to what is in the pipeline for the class of 2008. There are five legitimate blue chip players in the state, and numerous other solid mid-major targets. Both the talent at the top and the depth through the middle of the class is very impressive. However it is the state's best player regardless of class, Delvon Roe, that tops the list for 2008.
Coming into the summer most felt that William Buford was the top player in the state, but in the month of July Delvon Roe took over. Roe dominated at the Nike All-America Camp, and then continued his fine play in both Las Vegas and down at AAU Nationals in Orlando. That performance not only cemented Roe as the best player in Ohio for 2008, but also one of the truly elite players in the entire country.
