Head Coach Mark Dantonio and his staff got some very good news Tuesday evening, when 6-foot-6, 270-pound offensive tackle prospect Jared McGaha of Powell High School in Tennessee committed to Michigan State.

McGaha has been a priority recruit for Coach Dantonio and his staff since last summer when they observed him at camp. SpartanMag.com spoke with McGaha Tuesday night and he gave us the news.

"I have good news. Coach Dantonio flew down here today to see me, and when he got here we spent some time talking and I told him ….Coach, I'd like to be a Michigan State Spartan."
