Plenty of hope for future despite tough loss
There really is not any complex reason why the Wildcats lost Saturday's game to Arizona State. Instead, there are numerous reasons ranging from the preparation to the way the team played on the field.
The main reason that Arizona seemed to have lost was because too much happened in too little time. In other words, before the Wildcats could even blink an eye, Arizona State already had a commanding lead.
Considering that Saturday's match up was a rivalry game, Arizona simply could not afford to make the mistakes that it did. Whether it was missed assignments or leaving the punt return team on during a crucial down, the team did not do what it had to do in order to win.
