McKenzie loves visit to Tuscaloosa

TideSports.com Before the start of his junior year Bradenton Academy wide receiver Jermaine McKenzie had given his commitment to Alabama despite offers from a host of Southern powers. Since that time McKenzie, 6-foot-1, 170-pounds, has stayed true to his word and this weekend he was in Tuscaloosa for his official visit and he came away with glowing reviews.
"Oh man it was great. I was overwhelmed from the whole experience. It was everything I hoped for and more. The biggest thing for me was getting to meet the coaches and players. The made me feel right at home and before I left I knew that Alabama was home for me," McKenzie said. "I got there Friday and sat with the team while they watched film. Later that night I went through their walk-through for the game and that was awesome. We all had dinner that night and it was like I was playing in the game and that was awesome. It had me jacked up for the game.
