Buffs manhandled by Air Force, 84-46
BOULDER, Colo. - Unfortunately for the Buffaloes, they picked up where they left off.
After getting trounced by 41 points at New Mexico on Tuesday night, Colorado returned home to face Air Force. The game renewed a rivalry between the Falcons and Buffs that had taken a 27 year hiatus.
After Colorado scored the first four points of the game, Air Force went on a 22-0 run. And from there, it was smooth sailing for the Falcons.
Air Force shot 52.0 percent from the field en route to an 84-46 victory. Colorado shot just 22.7 percent.
The loss drops the Buffs to 1-2 on the young season.
"Another tough lesson," head coach Ricardo Patton said following the game. "As I said before the game, Air Force is certainly a top 25 team.
