AuburnSports.com Quarterback Brandon Cox threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Prechae Rodriguez and Auburn's defense forced four turnovers as the 15th-ranked Tigers won their fifth straight over Alabama 22-15 at Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday.
The win ties the 1958 team for the longest AU winning streak in the series and also keeps the Tigers a perfect 6-0 in Tuscaloosa.
"That was a super win for our program," said AU head coach Tommy Tuberville. "We knew coming over here it was going to be a dogfight. We knew we were going to have to fight through a lot of things. I'm proud of our players - the 70 of them stayed together and played as a team."
