Dream Come True
It's been an unforgettable week for Tyrel Reed. On Tuesday evening, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound shooting guard from Burlington (KS) High School received a phone call from Bill Self. At that time, Reed was given the opportunity to sign with the Kansas Jayhawks during the early signing period. On Wednesday afternoon, the No. 99 ranked player in the class of 2007 did just that.
Reed, the No. 14 ranked point guard in the class, is a talented player that should have a very successful career during his time in Lawrence. A big fan of former Jayhawk Kirk Hinrich, Reed has drawn similar comparisons to the current Chicago Bull.
