Notebook: Taylor's speech inspires Tigers
If Auburn needed a little boost this week coming off Saturday's disappointing loss to Georgia, senior wide receiver Courtney Taylor was there to provide it before Tuesday's practice.
"CT got up and talked and gave everybody chill bumps," said senior center Joe Cope. "He talked about the rivalry, letting the younger guys know what the rivalry was about. Not only to us, but to families across the state and the Southeast. It was a passionate speech and everyone was ready to go.
"He said this is his last go-round playing against Alabama. Win or lose, it'll be his last game. He asked for us to give everything we've got."
