KU staff hits the road
Romero Osby might be one of the most popular players in the class of 2008. High-major programs from across the United States continue to stop by Northeast Lauderdale High School in Meridian, Miss., to get a closer look at the 6-foot-8, 225-pound small forward. It just so happens that a member of the Kansas coaching staff recently dropped by the gym.
In all, Osby, the No. 31 ranked player in the class of 2008, is being heavily recruited by the likes of Georgia Tech, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Memphis, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Kansas State and Ole Miss.
