McKinley talks visit
Originally scheduled to take his official visit to Purdue the weekend of Sept. 19, Leander (Tex.) athlete Josh McKinley and the Boilermakers' coaching staff postponed the trip because of an injury to starting safety and Leander native Torri Williams.
Purdue wanted Williams to host McKinley, so the trip was rescheduled for this past weekend, and the move appears to have paid off.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound McKinley, along with teammate Curenski Gilleylen, did get a chance this past weekend to spend time with Williams, who was injured in Purdue's season opener and is between surgeries.
McKinley also holds offers from Colorado State, SMU and UTEP. He would like to set official visits up with Colorado State and Missouri.
