Beavers eager for desert showdown against Wildcats

A 29-27 loss to Arizona, a team that had been winless in Pac-10 play until it upset the Beavers in Corvallis. In his first college start, Wildcat freshman quarterback Willie Tuitama torched the OSU secondary, passing for 335 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Beaver quarterback Matt Moore had the worst game of his career, throwing six interceptions and fumbling away the ball as the team was driving late in the fourth quarter. The loss snapped OSU's six game winning streak against UA and derailed its bowl hopes, sending Beaver Nation into a tailspin.
