If the Bulldogs win Saturday, they will set a new record for the longest winning streak in the series with 12 straight victories.
Georgia is 47-17-2 against the Commodores all-time since the series began in 1893.
The Bulldogs have won 11 straight Homecoming games and they are 66-16-2 all-time on Homecoming. Vanderbilt has been the Homecoming opponent 19 times and Georgia is 17-2 on Homecoming against the Commodores.
Georgia is 11-2 following a loss under coach Richt.
Who starts at tailback?
The Georgia coaching staff remains tight-lipped about who will start at tailback against Vanderbilt. Junior Thomas Brown is the likely favorite since junior Kregg Lumpkin struggled blocking in the Tennessee game.
Lumpkin ran for 78 yards against the Volunteers and Brown ran for 57 yards in the loss.
The coaches may elect to start both backs in a shotgun formation as they did in the South Carolina game earlier this season.
Injury update
Junior fullback Des Williams is not dressed for the Vanderbilt game due to an undisclosed injury.
Redshirt freshman safety Donavon Baldwin (shoulder) and sophomore tight end Tripp Chandler (moderate concussion) will play in Saturday's game.
Team Captains

The Honorary captain is former defensive end Barry Wilson who played for the Bulldogs from 1962-65 and was an All-SEC team selection in 1964.
