This evening, the Vanderbilt Commodores coaching staff closed the deal on their first verbal commitment for their 2007 recruiting class. Keegan Bell, a 6-1/180-pound point guard from Hazel Green, Alabama, made a verbal commitment to sign with VU.

Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings got the good news tonight while visiting Bell's home.
