Competition still tight at wide receiver
Almost all the pieces are in place for Auburn's offense. Returning starters at quarterback and tailback, a senior tight end, four seniors on the offensive line and a senior go-to receiver, give the Tigers a lot of experienced firepower to work with heading into the 2006 season.
But there are still some holes to fill, especially at wideout where Auburn will need much more than just one go-to receiver to fill out the rotation. It's almost the exact opposite of what wide receiver coach Greg Knox had last season when he could lean on four 1,000-yard receivers.
