Notebook: D-tackle turning into strength

AuburnSports.com Heading into the 2006 season, one of the biggest question marks surrounding Auburn is the depth, or lack thereof, at the defensive tackle position.
And understandably so.
Auburn lost both starters from the '05 team in noseguard T.J. Jackson and tackle Wayne Dickens. Defensive end Chris Browder, an undersized 265-ish, was the projected starter at the tackle position when fall practice began earlier this month.
The concern was legit.
