Practice notes: Motivated Moses
After being one of the top sack artists in the SEC last year, senior defensive end Quentin Moses isn't at a loss for motivation.
Despite having a year that was enough to garner enough attention to conjure up talk of Moses leaving school a year early for the NFL Draft with 11.5 sacks, the Athens native isn't resting on last year's results.
"Anytime you go out and do well, you can't just settle for that," Moses said. "You've always got to shoot higher and have higher goals and get higher standards for yourself."
Though he was one of the top pass-rushers in the SEC a year ago, he didn't have the most sacks. That honor went to Mississippi State's Willie Evans who had 15. By the end of this season, Moses hopes to cash in the title that eluded him last year.
