Miller seeing interest from Virginia pick up
Numerous high school basketball players helped their own causes throughout the summer with strong showings on the AAU circuit, and among those players is Maurice Miller. The 6-foot-1, 183-pound guard from Raleigh-Egypt High School in Memphis, Tenn., is starting to hear from several top programs, including Virginia. Miller has also already started lining up his official visits. Will the Cavaliers get one?
Miller is a new name for Virginia fans, but the Cavaliers, led by the efforts of new assistant coach Bill Courtney, have been turning up the heat in recent weeks.
"They always had been sending me a lot of stuff, but after the Nike Camp things started getting heavier," said Miller, who's known to those around him as Mo. "Since then, they've been calling and coming to all of my games."
