Adams' versatility could help Dawgs
On occasion, Georgia offensive lineman Chester Adams likes to loosen his teammates up by singing a few notes from a song.
Given the Bulldogs' thin depth on the offensive line during the first two games of the season due to the suspension of tackle Daniel Inman and back-up center Ian Smith, Adams, nicknamed "The Big Cheese," may have to do a little more belting out of tunes than usual.
"I'll give them a couple notes every now and then just to keep them entertained or something or give them a laugh or something just to try and lighten the mood," Adams said. "A lot of guys just tell me, 'Cheese, sing something' and I'll bust out with something."
Aside from amusing teammates in song like he did last December when he led the team in a few Christmas carols during bowl practice, Adams' services will be needed more on the field of play where he's currently slated to start at tight guard.
