4-star Hicks favors two
Today was the type of day that Jacksonville, Fla., Forrest four-star linebacker Brandon Hicks lives for, well almost. While he was able to hit the practice fields once again as fall football kicked off in the state of Florida, he wasn't able to actually hit anyone since the first couple of days are sans football pads.
"Man it was hot. It would be nice to hit someone," said the 6-foot-3, 205-pound backer. "But it was good to be in shorts as hot as it was."
Today was the first step on the road that is his senior season. A road in which he knows he will be tested many times.
As a Rivals250 member and one of the top overall prospects in the state of Florida, Hicks might as well be wearing an X on his back. His coach has made him aware of the fact that he will be a marked man this fall.
