High-majors attend Hoffarber's workout
Every year a prospect emerges from the unknown and establishes himself as one of the more heavily recruited players in the class. Blake Hoffarber, the 6-foot-4, 180-pound shooting guard from Hopkins (MN) High School has done jus that. A short time ago, Hoffarber was considered to be a mid-major player, but that's all changed. The talented shooting guard conducted an open gym workout last week for several high-major programs. Was KU one of the schools that attended the workout?
"Virginia Tech, Washington State, Northern Iowa, Rutgers, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Stanford, Kansas, Indiana, Iowa, Montana and Pittsburgh are just some of the newer schools recruiting me," said Hoffarber. "I have recently received some new scholarship offers from Rutgers, Albany, Montana, Cincinnati, Northern Iowa, Washington State and Virginia Tech.
