In-state WR gives high marks to Auburn visit
Auburn is in the market for a couple of wide receivers in the class of 2007 and one of the Tigers' top targets is Huntsville, Ala., standout Quindarious Carr. The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder was in Auburn last Saturday for an unofficial visit.
"It was real nice. Auburn was more than I expected," said Carr. "Auburn has a nice campus, coaching staff and facilities. The facilities were very impressive and the coaching staff welcomed me with open arms. I was really impressed."
Carr visited Auburn along with his father.
"He liked Auburn too," said Carr. "He thought it was a nice overall campus and a good environment to go to school."
Carr and his father spent most of their time with assistant coach Don Dunn, who recruits north Alabama, and wide receiver coach Greg Knox.
